Dalhousie Multiple Sclerosis Research Unit
The Dalhousie Multiple Sclerosis Research Unit (DMSRU) was established in 1980 to provide care and education for patients and their families with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Nova Scotia.
The DMSRU is committed to the care of patients with multiple sclerosis and promotes and supports the development of research programs by its own staff and by other scientists.
- Provide evidence based clinical care to patients in liaison with their primary care physician
- Educate patients, families, physicians and the general public about MS care
- Advocate for advances in MS care both locally, nationally and internationally
- Participate in research related to the causes and treatments of MS
