Harold Taylor has accepted the position of Health Services Manager –Tissue Bank. Harold has several years’ experience as a Health Service Manager most recently at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital and the Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home in Sheet Harbour for the past six years. He recently completed his MBA. 

Doris Hollihan is the new Health Service Manager of PACU and Pre Admission Clinic at the VG site of the QEII. Doris has a surgical/ICU background in nursing and an MBA. She has also worked as Nursing Instructor and in more recent years has work in the pharmaceutical world.

Tracy Fisk, LPN has been selected for the excellence in nursing award by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia. The award recognizes a licensed practical nurse for their outstanding ability to provide quality care.

Debbie Sampson has accepted the Health Services Manager position on 7.2 Orthopedics. She has clinical background in the Cardiac Cath Lab and also has Critical Care, IMCU and general nursing unit experience.

And our President and CEO Chris Power was recently inducted into Atlantic Business Magazine’s CEO Hall of Fame.
