Call for high school volunteers for summer 2015

Volunteer Services at the QEII is offering high school students an opportunity to learn more about health care. This summer, students can gain valuable volunteer experience in an acute care facility by spending time with patients and the public and interacting with a wide range of health care professionals.

Students will learn valuable communication skills and make an important contribution to our community.

Students must be at least 16 years old; have completed Grade 10 and be available to volunteer for at least three shifts per week from July 2 to July 24 (session 1) and/or July 27 to Aug. 21 (session 2). If you have a son or daughter who might be interested, please direct them to apply at Giving & Volunteering by March 31, 2015.

On the application, students should identify their interest in the summer high school volunteer program and the session in which they would like to participate. For additional information, please contact:
