Safety & Injury Prevention
Capital Health is committed to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all staff. We ensure the Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations as well as other relevant federal acts/regulations are implemented as a minimum standard for occupational health and safety.
The Department of Safety & Injury Prevention provides a group of programs that form the basis of a Capital Health Safety Management System for:
- Contracted groups (housekeeping, security)
All of the programs address the need to have a system that deals with:
- Documentation of workplace hazards
