Capital Health Manager

The role of the Capital Health manager is to approve/be aware of all unpaid student placements in their service areas/departments and ensure that all students have been processed and approved by Student/Learner Placement Service.

Responsibilities…

• Encourages staff to preceptor students
• Initiates approval and application of computer access and training when applicable
• Acts as a resource person to:
  • Promote a positive relationship between the staff, students, and the Nursing Clinical Instructor
  • Facilitate the Nursing Clinical Instructor’s role in relation to choosing appropriate clinical assignments
  • Respond to queries and concerns of the Nursing Clinical Instructor
