What we do

Emergency is an “uncontrolled, unpredictable environment in which patient assessment, analysis and intervention is performed within a limited time frame and often with minimal patient data. The presenting problem may be perceived, actual, physical or emotional in nature.

Severity may range from non-urgent to resuscitative.

  • Triage and prioritize patients’ needs
  • Stabilize and resuscitate patients
  • Create and implement plans for disasters
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with limited data
  • Provide care in uncontrolled or unpredictable situations
