Established in 2010, the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program provides assessment, treatment, consultation and education for survivors of brain injuries due to trauma, stroke and other causes, as well as to their families and care-givers. The ABI Program has a strong focus on supporting community-based clients in their recovery and reintegration, operating a Day Program, an Outreach Program and Outpatient Clinics. Clients must be referred to both programs by a therapist, clinician or physician. An initial in-take assessment is done to determine a client’s specific issues and needs.
